Of course, it's hard for me to take all the ENFP-bashing, but everybody's entitled to their opinion.

Yeah, most ENFPs use their powers for good... or at least harmless fun. This guy, however... not so much.

My mother went through a very rough marriage and divorce, and has this overall negative view towards men--she's also not the type of mother to let her daughter run off with some guy. It turns out that she really likes him, trusts him, and let's me do whatever. He is Mikami-esque (Death Note) around both of them, something they both like and admire. He matches their high expectations in men, and they want us to stay together. I started dating him around the same time my dad left.
Bourgeois, he knows exactly how to make everyone feel special; when you're talking to him, you feel as if though what you say is important, that you're his best and only friend. Even if he doesn't care for you at all, but this you wouldn't know or notice. At first, he'd lead on a lot of girls, intentionally, while we were "together." It really bothered me when I wasn't with him, but when I was..I could care less. After a while, he turned obsessive and I became his prized posession, his favorite pet.
A lot of girls were angry at me when he started getting serious, they think I have the perfect boyfriend, he was at first. I'm also a perfectionist (no modesty on the interwabs) and I feel this jealous aura when they come near me. "Kioni is too demanding."
On the surface, we make an amazing couple, the relationship everyone else wants to be in.

I'd want her to take the control she once had back, and to be able to focus more on what she wants...and go back to creating happiness through her interests. Also, to learn not to be so dependent on this one person, who in turn, is too dependent on her. I'd want her to look at him, and realize that she's been giving him too much of her power.

I appreciate every one's advice, and I think I'm just going to stay away from him for a little while (HT's advice)...and think about what I actually want. I know I'll be rereading this thread when it gets hard on me....I think I just want the time to build up confidence to leave him.
Mikkle: Think of it as bashing him, not all ENFPs. My sister is an ENFP (I think), and we're close, and I have the best time with her. Sucks how I see her only once every two weeks...
I like this community, you'll see me every once in a while....no, I'm not some little whiny fifteenyearold....

It's an abbreviation for Jungian functions
Fi = introverted Feeling. It deals with internal values. It's either the dominant function or auxiliary function of all xxFPs, and the third or fourth function of all xxTJs. For example, an ENFP's function order is: extroverted iNtuition, introverted Feeling, extroverted Thinking, introverted Sensing
Fe = extroverted Feeling. This function deals with social norms and expectations. It's either the dominant function or auxiliary function of all xxFJs, and the third or fourth function of all xxTPs. For example, an INTP;s function order is: introverted Thinking, extroverted iNtuition, introverted Sensing, and extroverted Feeling.
