Curious to know.
Me unless I make an honest effort my body language will tell all.

probably a lot...i wish people would ask me sometimes if they're bothering me or i wish folks could read me better. when chatting/talking with
others...i often bore rapidly. i think it's important to be aware of how one is effecting another. i don't need or want bad interactions.

As little as possible, if I can help it, except for some very few and specific signals I may choose to give.

Same here.

How far can language itself go in describing your waking life, its consciousness, perceptions, all those colors, depths, tastes, sounds, sense of balance, etc. Does language, do you think, get in the way ever of the moment?

Apparently it's usually revealing less than I think. I tend to think of myself as an open book, but I'm always surprised by how little people realize of what I'm thinking and feeling. People who really seem to be trying, too.

It reveals all (well, a lot), but is often misinterpreted.

I'm high in self-monitering. I project a confidently languid image most of the time. I position myself in rooms based on how i want things to turn out. I'll even tell other people where to sit, by jesturing or whatever.

I prefer high ground. It's easier to end a conversation.

EDIT: oh i didn't answer the question. Not much about how i feel

It depends on how much body language others are capable of reading. Very Happy

Yeah, that's what I thought too.

I mean, I don't think my body language is very telling. But then, I don't walk around with a mirror either.

Most of the time, not for me. The exceptions are extremely intimate situations, where what I wish to communicate is done best with touch or other nonverbal methods. In these situations, however, I usually wish to convey a general impression, not anything specific or precise.

ADM identifies the problem with nonverbal cues here: they can too easily be misinterpreted. If someone really is interested in what I think or feel, they should pay closest attention to my words, which I choose carefully to communicate exactly what I wish them to understand. If someone chooses instead to focus on some real or perceived nonverbal signal and misinterprets it, this is their problem.

People generally don't get my body language, or get it wrong. Especially facial expressions: "Why are you frowning?" "I'm not, I'm incredibly happy right now." Apparently I'm not very physically expressive, although I often think of myself as a very open person, as well.

I can generally read the non-verbal cues of others very well, though.

I like to show that I am listening when I am interested in a conversation. I act lost when I am trying to avoid conversation (not always by purpose, sometimes I am actually just sleepy). My body language itself may come off as ambiguous sometimes, but my intent and approach are usually quite apparent in my eye expression.

I'm actually very expressive when it comes to talking to anther person. Since I really can't talk all that well, I have to add in some arm swings, a raised brow here and there, and perhaps some pelvic thrusting to get my point across.
