I like Bebop, love Samurai Champloo. Do you like to watch dubbed or subtitled? I think the voices are so much better in Japanese. |

There's a great TV channel here called SBS, has all sorts of films on latish at night, from anywhere, france to mongolia. I love listening to the different languages.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone complex is another anime that I really like. |

I've never seen Cowboy Bebop. I caught some Ghost in the shell: standalone complex a few times on TV and thought it was pretty cool. Had an interesting theme song, if I remember correctly. My guilty anime addiction is Inuyasha, lol. I can't stand watching it in English though, it's just weird. Plus, it's so much fun when you watch enough anime with subtitles, because you start picking up the language!
I'm currently listening to the soundtrack of Notre Dame de Paris, which is one of the coolest musicals EVER. Earlier I was singing opera at the top of my lungs, . Nothing like the Queen of the Night aria to warm up the ol' pipes, plus, I gotta get the new neighbours used to me being around! _________________ "Love never fails." ~Corinthians

I've seen Ghost in the Shell the movie and read the comic. I want to see the 2nd movie and the tv series.
Anybody like Gunsmith Cats or Ranma 1/2?
Listening to Alice In Chains - Brother
The only opera like music I have is Nightwish. A soprano singing symphonic metal songs I have a relative who loves musicals I'll have to recommend that one! _________________

Love that, it's wonderful, & so funny. Haven't seen much unfortunately. How hot is Ranma!!
GITS movie is awesome, a classic. I can get lost in that song every time. And the theme from Stand Alone Complex is great, it gets sung a lot round here when we've been watching the show. I just want to see that show with subtitles, guess I might have to buy it one day. (I can't justify buying fat enough internet + hard drive space for torrents.) Stand alone complex and Samurai Champloo have both been on TV here, but dubbed of course, I find it frustrating how much is lost with dubbing.
Have seen Kiki. I think I've seen most of Miyazaki's now actually. My favourite is Laputa: Castle in the Sky. Although I love all of them. |
