|
|
I'm super big on Marvel comics and I think that Marvel more than any other comic company focuses greatly on character development. W/ this is mind, it's not hard to fathom the fact that many of their characters have apparent types about them. I've noticed that as a recurring theme, ISTPs tend to make up pretty much all of their anti-heroes, as a result I'll mention a couple of lesser known anti-heroes but it will be redundant if I start naming all of my favorites...
Anyway, here are some crucial names w/ their types:
Captain America: ISTJ
Spiderman: INTJ
Wolverine: ISTP
Cyclops: ISTJ
Professor X: INFJ
Magneto: INTJ
Blade: ISTP
Lesser known characters I definitely have to mention:
Deadpool (unique in that he's an anti-hero): ENTP
Venom I: Maybe ENTJ...?
Cable: ISTP
Like I said there are more that I could mention but yeah... If anyone wants to note any dispute they have w/ anything I mentioned here or add some character(s) then all's welcome! _________________

I haven't read one in over a decade so here's from what I can remember.
Beast: INTJ
Gambit: ENTP (just guessing) _________________

What's your reasoning behind Gambit being N? _________________

I could have put ESTP instead. I don't remember the character well enough to decide on N and S. _________________

Yeah ESTP is what I'd go w/ as a matter of fact; he has a penchant for slang, he's one of the most outspoken of all the X-Men, loves to flirt, has engaged in small-time crime, and is inherently laid back. Seems like that description would fit ESTP to a tee, to me anyway.
Do you agree w/ all of the characters' types I mentioned? _________________

I agree with Wolverine and Cable. The other characters I don't remember well enough. _________________

How can you agree make comments on types of a bunch of X-Men and furthermore Cable but not have enough objective knowledge to make an analysis on Professor X, Cyclops, or Magneto? Lol; I just find it highly ironic. _________________

I read X-Men during the time of Cable vs Stryfe in the early 90s. The focus of the storyline was on Cable. I only made comments on a few ones that I was pretty sure on _________________

Personally I think Gambit is one of the most boorish characters w/in the franchise (even including spin-off books w/in the X-Men family). I mean while Wolverine may not be some upper class level entity at least he's resolute whenever he's doing something... Gambit's just boring and stupid...
But don't let my opinion downsize yours... _________________

Mr. Sisnister - INTJ, I suppose
Thought I usually don't like "bad guys" there is something really tragic in this character.
Maybe because of some common scientific dreams. _________________ INTJ / LII |
