Do you think eye color could affect personality? (whether light, dark, blue, green, brown, contacts etc: )
I say it's possible...it is what they see in the mirror everyday. And different eye colors seem to have different traits surrounding them. Not sure how they were given the traits, but they're there. I've noticed light eyed people tend to be more outgoing, and the more ones with dark tend to express feelings of low self-esteem. I've heard from many that they believe eye colors that are not brown are much more desirable than common ones. Could that be something that affects personality?
What are your ideas?

Oh yeah. Light color = You can distinctly make out the pupils
Dark color = Iris blends into pupil. Focus required for precisely locating.

Isnt this topic quasi-semi racist considering that most people of 'color' (hispanic, black, indian, and others) have dark eyes. If you just look at these people, would you assume that they have a trait of their personailty affected cause a them eyes?

I wouldn't say racist, because anyone can have any color eyes. It's just however rare the eye color tends to appear due to genes. This post could come off as attempting to stereotype and categorize everyone..
I'm just wondering. I always have, and then there's those weird personality tests 'what eye color are you?!' and such. Not saying they're reliable, but if there's enough thought going on about the subject besides me, maybe there's SOME worth to it.
It's wrong to automatically categorize everyone you see, but it's just an interesting tidbit to look at. You know how certain genes are prone for certain things? Like males and hemophilia, because if their mother has hemophilia, they will undoubtedly have it too (I think). Maybe there's certain personality traits genetically more likely to appear with certain eye colors than others.

forgot to add my name above. but yeah im not so sure about the whole eye color thing. there are millions of people with brown eyes. could all those people possibly fit into some general personality type? i think it has more to do with environment, the way you were raised and the people around you. plus its possible for personalities to be altered by social pressures and conformity. like when everyone wants to be just like the most popular girl in school. or when you hang out with the same friend for a really long time, you start acting the same... maybe im crazy.

speaking of crazy, whats up with that personality disorder test? i got like schizotyl and paranoid and dependent or something. i definitely dont have a personality disorder
