Have you ever looked into someones eyes and you just knew that something wasn't going to work out? Or that the relationship will be great all with a simple gaze into the eyes?
So who does it and is it accurate?
I do it and it seems pretty accurate _________________ School is over, the fun begins

yes, the eyes can say a lot...dilated pupils or not...the look...if one is intuitive one can often read/figure out much more than another is saying and/or trying to present. the rest of the body context is considered by me as well. yes, i believe i can read people rather well. people lie too much for my liking...so i've developed this ability...built upon what i am. trust yourself...and seek to confirm things when it regards and concerns others. just some thoughts from me. fwiw...i tend not to stare into people's eyes...i just check their eyes often times to check reality...to check how my interaction is going with them. i tend to focus much more on what is being said (and how...trying to determine the intent) and my own thoughts...weighed with my own feelings and the emotions of the other(s) in the current situation. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/nonentropic |

I don't know if this applies particularly to the eyes. It's about the whole context, the whole facial expression. I can read faces. And yes eyes contribute the most to this intuitive reading, but like I said it is more of a general vibe.
I can tell a lot by looking at someone's face, but the traits that usually jump at me the most are that person's intelligence and mental health. I've rarely been wrong in assessing these. |

I think I try to block out that kind of first impressions.
A few times I've gotten angry with myself if someone hasn't been reliable, and I've realized I actually knew. |

Let's not judge people and experience when it comes to age, eh? : /
Anywho, yeah, I'm an eye-reader, too.
Facial expression is how I often express myself when I don't talk or feel I can't. _________________ INFP 4w5

Leave him alone winter. Teach him everything! about money, sex, condoms, bra sizes. The earlier the better.
INFPs especially are known to emphasize more on the eyes than any body part.
Eyes does tell a lot for me as well. Reading their thoughts using their eyes. great resource. =D _________________ Wrath Angel

I do it, and from my limited experience it was sort of accurate. I knew it wouldn't work out, but I still pursued it. _________________ ENTPEEEEEEEEEEEEE, SCUEI, type 9... and stuff.

See I agree that it is a good assessor of intellegence(you ever noticed how dull people to have very dull eyes?) and then some people just kinda make you click like "huh this person could be a good friend" although I'm going to have to say I'm a bit biased in it. Often times people with startingly blue eyes give me bad first impressions _________________ School is over, the fun begins
