I can't even say I'm surprised... Hatch, they are unbelievably awesome! You are indeed an all rounder. And you too chose the surrealistic way to express yourself.

My favs are #2 and #4, but I liked all of them. The weird (?) thing is, the LSD inspired ones look kinda dull and unfinished, while the other ones are extremely vivid.

Very impressive indeed. You are very talented, man. Thank you for posting them!

lol, no no, i wasn't meaning it like that! I just meant as in a man-crush an' i was only teasing anyway, haha.

Random definiton for man crush:

A man who has a crush on another man without sexual attraction.

"Hey, Ted. I heard you spent the night over at Dave's."
"Yeah, we played twister and scrabble and watched movies, and spent all night talking, bizzatch."
"Dude, you're 35, acting like you're 12, and you're using his language. You've got a man crush."

haha =)

Hatch, those are really intricate works! You have a great way of blending different subject matters together onto one canvas. You remind me a little bit of Mark Ryden or Ray Caesar.

I noticed on one that it was dated August 92? That's quite a while ago. Do you still draw today?

I saw a lot of references to the cross too. What significance does that hold for you?

That's actually when my father left my family never to be seen again. 7 days, 9 years after my birthday. They're all made within the past 2 years.

Crosses = Fear, and what I've sacrificed in my life because of fear.

I see.

Crosses == fear is an interesting correlation. I don't really desire to get into a religious debate here; I just find it interesting that some people think of a cross and fear comes to their side.

Symbolism is only as powerful as the similarities in definition shared between people I guess. At least when one is using symbolism in communcation with others.

Great art though, thanks for sharing.

ahh i wish i could draw while on LSD...my hand gets too shakey and I cant focus on anything for an extended period of time.

your lucky to have a steady hand under such circumstances Hatchback

I just play with markers like a ten year old girl or think of something i can paint at a later date
