It's good to know I'm not the only gullible INTP out there. I was beginning to think I must be slightly stupid. Yes, it's funny just HOW inferior our feeling function is, isn't it? I mean, it's like an amoeba on the evolutionary scale, whereas our others functions would be...well, a fox, bobcat, or something, just depending on what function you're talking about. So anyway, with this ill functioning feeling blob we have, we have to make the best of it. I've read that our sensing helps us out here. For instance, music is often a major emotional outlet for INTPs. This is definitely true for me. Music allows me to feel emotional depth, it's like a portal into another world. Shut the music off, and the world is robotic again. Books can also do this for me. But in the real world, ehh, forget it. I'm a hard nut to crack.

Can you relate to this?

Well, there's a lot of stuff you haven't experienced yet. If you start talking to people...well, I wouldn't expect you to be able to start a conversation, unless you're a weak level of Introvert. You can start with jumping into conversations when you have the chance. I do that sometimes and I end up getting to know people. Then you realize, people are not all that "robotic". You see that every person is unique in their own way and you can end up being friends with some of them. There's a lot of factors though, I talk to a LOT of people, but none of them are my friends, lol.

Gullible has nothing to do with intelligence. It's actually not a weakness either. You open up your feelings only to people who you think you can trust or love so they would listen. Sometimes you might end up opening up to the wrong people and they would just laugh at you. I'm not sure if it's possible to show your feelings without being gullible. I'm sure an ESFJ or ENFJ might have the answer though, lol. Smile

omegalega, I just want to say something, you should've threw a rock at their car... Laughing

The funny thing is I just like most ISFPs hate to get into a fight, just like 9s. But I will if you say or do just the right thing. I'll jump in a fight to aid my ESTP friend that is always getting in a fight, or like in one case where I tried to keep the peace with these guys that totally out numbered my friends and myself, but when the appearing leader of their group splashed his cup of soda on my newly bought leather jacket--I rushed him in rage and kicked his ass pretty bad. Funny little add-on is my ESTP got a piece of him too a few minutes later when he came back for more after I walked away. He for some reason that day just wanted a fight...and he got it! Cool

A 9 or 1 is my second preferred type, but my wing is often a one as I used to get tested for it all the time.

I scored as a definite type 9.

Conflict upsets me so much.

Okay, I know I change my enneagram type a lot, but

This time I'm a nine Cool

Probably with a one wing, which is kinda funny as my primary big 5 trait is unorganized by far, but that's not completely what oneness is about, right? It's more about wanting to be good, perfect, improve yourself and all that... sounds a bit three-ish... never mind.

I thought I'm a six for the past month or so, but that's just not me. I'm not a loyalist, I don't look to authority, I'm not any of those. I'm just a horribly lazy guy who wants to walk down the street and hug everyone. I thought I was a six because I thought nines are supposed to be eternally calm and not worry, but I've come across sources stating they even though they often try to seem like that, they aren't necessarily like that inside.

Another thing putting me off the nineness is that I don't like letting conflicts go, but I often do it anyway. Also, we are supposed to be good kids, no? I've never been a good kid. But I am sx, after all. I'm too tired to reason right now, but I'm relatively sure I am 9w1, and maybe I'm going to say I'm 2w3 in a while, but not now.

Basically, one of my greatest desires, if not the greatest one is all people to respect and love each other.

- Martin, a proud 9.

You're probably not coming back to read this, but he's INTP. At least that's what I've heard.

I just tested myself. Ended up as 70% 9 and 68% 5.
4 was close to very close to 5 though.

Anyways. Guess this fits with the whole "INFP" thing.
right?
