|
|
I've been thinking and I've come to the conclusion that this should be a good topic. It's so we could understand each other. We can talk about how each of us can relate to each other. In this thread, we can compare types. We can ask questions about the relationship of each type and such. Any questions about type relationships goes into this thread. This thread can also be called the general discussion of Jung Types. This is a thread where we can all come together.
My type is INTP by the way. |

If all people in the world would be of the same type, what type would survive longest time alone?
(I am sure that ENTPs would begin to starve pretty soon.) _________________ ENTP sCUx|I| aspie married to an ISTJ |

What do you mean by "All the people" in the world...
and What do you mean by alone?
If the "alone" person had the planet/continent to his/herself... INTJ
If the "alone" group, had to share a planet/continent with each other... ISTJ
INTJs would probably do the best individually,
ISTJs could probably do best collectively.
INTJs would all have conflicting viewpoints.
ISTJ viewpoints for the most part are the same... No vision, but in the realistic sense, they are always right. _________________ New levels of truth come from new levels of understanding.

I meant the "alone" group.
I like your views, but why not ESTP:s or ESTJs? What would be wrong with Exxx populations? - Everyone wants to have his/her say, and nothing gets accomplished?
Wouldn't it be so that ISTJs (and all Js) would initiate wars readily?
How ISTPs would fare?
In my opinion,
E would be good, to unite the people via interaction
S would be good, keeping the focus on relevant survival issues
Ts maybe would fare better than Fs, in the long run. (But maybe Ts would develop a very depressing society, if no Fs were around.)
Ps would have peace, Js would work hard. - Who knows which would be more important? _________________ ENTP sCUx|I| aspie married to an ISTJ |

Well, you did say survive "alone". E's can't survive alone, so there you have it. If there are people around, it's a different story. _________________ Wrath Angel

Yeah, I would assume E's would be too busy trying to influence their environment, than concentrating on their survival.
The rut-seeking ISTJ, as well as their sense of duty, 'thriftiness', and seriousness, would still ensure everything gets done, without stepping on each other's toes. ISTJs will even do someone else's work, just to stay ahead of schedule. Once survival procedures are established, productivity will climb as well.
Also, what about the jobs nobody wants to do? ISTJs would be the most likely to suck it up and do it, because it has to be done.
A world built for 'survival' doesn't need to continually re-invent itself.
... As far as uptopian harmonious societies ... The ideas are ususally generated by N's, if not NF's... And all of their viewpoints are different. So, it would be really tough to get something everyone could agree on. _________________ New levels of truth come from new levels of understanding.

Try ESFPs. The world would be goofy and harmonious. Any fights would be forgotten in time. Sure, not much would be accomplished, but who cares!?
A world of nothing but INTPs would be esoteric as hell and very interesting. It would be surreal. Kinda like a neverending acid trip. However, they would clash a lot and/or hide away. Everyone for himself in this world!
After picking each other apart, ISTJs would bore each other to death.
ISFPs would eventually fall into a vegetative state and numb themselves with sleep and food.
INFPs would all form intense bonds with each other. The mutual intensities would eventually kill the relationships. There would be a mass (failed)suicide epidemic. The world would cease to function while all the INFPs licked their wounds and cried themselves to sleep at night.
ENTJs? Give it a year, at most. No one will be left to clean up all the blood, though. _________________ INTP<br>5w4

Give the INTPs a DDR Machine. They would be head to head in the competition all day and all night. _________________ Wrath Angel
