I'm kind of seen as a lovable dumb blonde in some circles. And I know I'm a very intelligent person but I can see where they are coming from. I have no sense of direction, no interest in details...I guess that can come off as ditziness?
And I'll admit...I might play up the image sometimes for attention. |
Speaking as a guy ENFP, I've definitely been described as ditzy, airheaded and the like, generally when I'm running an artificial high. Definitely not a bad thing in my opinion, I tend to have quite a bit more fun doing my own thing :p. |

I tend to want to know what the person I'm speaking to is thinking, reading between the lines so to speak, but I get that more from the voice / body language than just the face, so I guess no, I don't neeeeed to see the other person's face while I'm talking too them, although its always nice.
Also, US' recent president-elect Barack Obama is supposed to be an ENFP. Not quite sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing :p. |

I don't know, I do that, and I'm some type of NF. I CANNOT talk to someone if they cover their face...or their eyes. _________________ "Even though I'm no more than a monster - don't I, too, have the right to live?"

thanks folks. i noticed that in some of the vids of Malcom X that i posted in the intellectual section here (under my fwiw thread...idealism thread - i think) that when he speaks or is spoken to he acts and repsonds in a very similar way to me or vice versa. i see him falling within the intj category as well. the focus is on the essence of what is being said and one's own thoughts/train of thought mostly...or very strongly. whatever.... _________________ http://www.myspace.com/nonentropic |

In my case, I am INTP and I don't stare at other people's faces when we're talking. But I've noticed that people don't like when I do this, they prefer me to look at them. _________________ ... |

I'm an NF and I don't like looking people in the face while talking. Usually. lol. _________________ intp |

I'm ENTP, and my vagina always knows I've spotted an ENFP before my mind does. There's nothing sexier than not knowing which way someone is going to zag next. I just want to dive into a tank of ENFPs and climb my way out with my tongue. |
