Cube: on the ground level, medium size, translucent appearance with while colour and black borders. Turned sideways.
Ladder: natural looking and has a friendly ivy creeping on it. off to the side of the horizon. very tall.
Horse: energetic, it just can't sit still its galloping everywhere but its thoughtful and introspective yet seeks experience in even the most dull situations. Also likes mellowing out near the ladder from time to time.
flowers: little patches of flowers scattered everywhere. Multicoloured.
Storm: changes the order in which everything is arranged in the horizon however, nothing really affects the objects' states otherwise. _________________ Lilith sans Racine

Ladder. A motif taken from everyday agricultural life, the ladder is symbolic
of searching; rising above the petty problems of life.
ILadder. - Internal - Spiritual: The rungs on a ladder represent levels in a hierarchy, and
so can symbolise levels of spiritual awareness. A ladder may indicate communication
between levels, or ascension to a higher spiritual plane.
Sometimes the ladder - like Jacob's in the Book of Genesis - is used by angels descending
and ascending: a symbol of communication between the spiritual and physical aspects of the self,
or between the true self and the ego.
Horse. The horse appears as the ancient sign of the sun. Archeologists claim
that the horse was first domesticated in Ukraine. This motif symbolize wealth
or prosperity, endurance and speed; it also emphasizes the motion of the sun.
Horse Legends and History The Horse symbolizes success, freedom, travel, strength,
power, nobility, wisdom and loyalty. It is also a symbol of life and death, grace
and beauty. The Horse represents courage, speed and endurance.
Horse. The Horse in ancient Greece
was given not only wings but immortality. These divine beings
were believed to be the offspring of the Four Winds, which
would take on the forms of horses carrying Zeus in his chariot.
A whole stable of divine steeds was available to gods and
goddesses throughout the ancient Greek realm. Of all the
divine Horses, Pegasus is the most famous.
That winged steed was thought to carry the thunderbolts of Zeus across the sky.
Jungian Archetypal/ HORSE/ Animal life
Flowers. The flower
Flowers are the embodiment of nature and concise symbols
of the cycle of birth, life, procreation, death and rebirth.
Specific flowers have come to represent a myriad of different
beliefs in different cultures. In the East, the lotus flower has
tremendous spiritual significance, as does the rose in the West.
Similarly, the tremendous spectrum of colours present in
flowers can have symbolic importance; white for purity,
red for passion, or to represent the blood of Christ are but a few examples.
Star or Rose. This ideogram is most commonly found in its eight-pointed form.
It is one of the most beautiful and versatile of the geometric representations and is
said to signify purity, life, the giver of light, the center of all knowledge as well as
beauty, elegance and perfection. In the Christian context, the star or rose
becomes the herald of Christ's birth, a symbol of God's love toward man.
& extra source
As a light shining in the darkness, the star is often considered a symbol of truth,
of the spirit and of hope. The symbol of the star embodies the concept
of the divine spark within each of us. Their nocturnal nature leads stars
to represent the struggle against the forces of darkness and the unknown. _________________ ENTJ sx/so |

Nontrop - I found some of these of more interest than the formalized Cube
game results (Which I unearthed on an Enn site in the course of this quick scout
) I'll post link - after revelation... : )

1. Crystal. Light Blue (as seen here). Diamond cut. Smooth. Sturdy. Medium - 15ft. Tilted on one corner. Floating slightly above the ground.
2. Resting on the left side of the cube. Roughly as long as the cube. Light gold. Lithe. Slender. Highly durable.
3. White horse. Grazing the grass on the bottom right of the cube. Wandering about. Looks at the other objects with great intrigue - trying to solve their mystery. Curious. Imaginative. Free-spirited.
4. Poppies. Mostly golden, few red. Dispersed everywhere. Seem to dance with the gentle wind.
5. A powerful storm hits. The white horse and red poppies become nutrients for the growing earth. The ladder has burst into tiny fragments and is scattered everywhere. Fits right in with the scenery. The crystal cube (with a noticeable chip on the upper right) and several golden poppies remain. Dew drops on the crystal's surface glisten in the early morning sun. A bluish glow lights up within the cube. Looks more beautiful than before. Untouched by the will of others.

Haha, sorry to have kept you hanging guys. But now seems like the time. Dun dun dun.
Another, some of the stuff you've posted really does seem more meaningful than what the Cube Game tells us. Thanks for that
Oh, also note that there are a couple of variations on the meaning that exist out there for the game. I'm just going to go with the one that I played with.
Alrighty,
The reveal:
The Cube:
The cube represents how you view yourself or the self in general.
Size- this refers to the size of you ego.
| RadicalDreamer wrote: | | It is larger than the known universe, piercing the outer edges of it. |
Haha, kudos Rad.
Colour-All of you guys that had black (absorbs different colours), white (reflects different colours) or multicoloured cubes first. That basically implies that you view the self as a multifaceted being.
Those of you guys that specified particular colours can find colour symbolism in Another's post (See above).
Opacity- Complete transparency implies that you are pretty transparent in your interactions with the world. An opaque cube signifies that you are detached and difficult to read. Translucent cubes place you somewhere in the middle of complete openness and detachment.
Position of the cube- Cube on the ground implies that you are generally grounded and pretty down-to-earth. Floating cubes imply that you are a dreamer and generally have-your-head-in-the-clouds. Cubes placed anywhere in the middle (on ledges, inclines, etc.) find the balance between the two.
Angle of perception- If you see more than one side of the cube, you generally tend to tackle your problems with multiple perspectives. If you have a head-on or a side-on view of your cube, such that you only see one side, you tend to focus and concentrate on one perspective at a time when you tackle problems.
You guys had some fantastic detailing and embellishments on your cubes (e.g. concave-convex angles, chalk-line structures) that the game doesn't exactly account for, but I'm sure can be stretched for personal symbolism.
The Ladder:
The ladder represents your ambition.
Height- tall ladders reflect incredible ambitiousness and smaller ladders reflect more down-to-earth ambitions.
Ease of climbing- Ladders that seem friendly (in a figurative sense) and easy to climb echo your inner conviction in achieving your ambitions. Difficult to climb ladders echo harder paths towards the actualization of your goals.
Durability and texture- These depict the nature of your ambitions. Some of you had rigid, sturdy ladders that echoed more practical ambitions, whereas others had some really dynamic ladders (Another!) or with personalized detailing (Fathergia) that echo a more personalized sense of ambition.
Interaction/Proximity with cube- Proximity reflects how close your ambitions are in defining a sense of self.
The Horse:
This is how you view your lover in romantic interactions. But to be fair, it can also work with how you generally view your passions in general.
Sorry to all the standoffish, defeated and old horses. Somehow most of us in this part always assume the horse is male, so there is bias involved, but ah well.
3 Traits: These reflect the traits you most seek in a lover.
Proximity to the Cube: This reflects levels of intimacy and the general dynamics of a relationship.
Rad takes this one away too:
| RadicalDreamer wrote: | | Mr horse is a proud, strong horse, standing on his hind legs with rubber nipples stuck on his chest. |
The Flowers:
The flowers represent your friends.
Distribution of flowers: Those that occur in patches depict different social groups that you are part of, flowers that merge everywhere depict merging social circles and general togetherness, fewer flowers signify that you value a few close friendships.
Colour: Multicoloured flowers reflect a wide diversity of people in your friendships, and less variation (or a particular specification in colour) echoes that you connect only with a certain type of people.
Proximity/Interaction with Cube: This is how close you consider your friends in defining a sense of self.
Proximity/Interaction with Horse: How your romantic involvement collides with your general social dynamics. Haha, when I first played the game, some of the answers people had included horses eating the flowers.
The Storm:
The storm represents problems and how you deal with them.
Nature of the Cube (before/after): This is how you deal with problems. Largely unchanged cubes imply stability whereas harshly affected cubes depict that you don't handle tumultuous circumstances very well.
Nature of Ladder (before/after): This depicts how your ambitions alter/don't change as you encounter hardships.
Nature of Horse (before/after): This depicts the role of your lover/passions-in-general as they affect problems in your life. Horses that come out unchanged/better represent that you have the ability to find a deeper connection with these things during harder times.
Nature of Flowers (before/after): This expresses the role of your friends in helping you overcome the storms in your life. _________________ "There's man all over for you, blaming on his boots the faults of his feet" -Samuel Beckett |

hmm, and i wonder how "they" ever came up with these descriptions/explanations for this game that "they" created, and why was it created? these things i do not understand.
this is not how i see it/or things. oh well. i'm not a believer in authority fortunately. i am able to hold my own view of things and myself...not that i'm going any further than this here and now. it was interesting, mostly for seeing others answers/replies.
imo, it is better to ask people directly what they think about themselves, their plans, their friends (if any), their lover(s) (again, if any) and so on. if, people knew themselves well and would be honest...such games would never be needed. they would only confuse things...as it has in my case. for i am very honest and not in any need of having anything drawn-out or found out from me in any sort of indirect way. i know myself very well and i think i can explain myself well too. whether anyone else ever understands or believes me...well, that is another matter.
thanks again, Annabel_Lee, Another and everyone else who "played" the game. it was interesting. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/nonentropic

There are no serious implications of it at all. We do some things just for fun. This would be one of them.
I wouldn't invest any more meaningful thought in it, but most people just enjoy games and the like. _________________ "There's man all over for you, blaming on his boots the faults of his feet" -Samuel Beckett |

I feel I unnecessarily constrained myself with the chalkboard drawing, which I kind of figured would happen really, but that's how it started, and I couldn't get the image out of my head.
So yeah, my results are skewed, but it was fun anyway. _________________ r|C|UaI |

mine was alright. Here's my translation:
| Quote: | 1. pale green. slight sheen. Sharp angles, plastic durability, very little give. About middle of the space, viewed from a diagonal and slightly above the midline.
2. Solidly constructed wooden rung ladder. smoothed wood, naturaly light in colour. Standard eight rungs or so. No nails exposed; all the pieces are well fitted. The ladder is positioned aligned to the back face of the cube.
3. The horse is floating above the cube, ignoring the ladder. It is comfortable but impatient, aware of the scene but indifferent. It has a lot of energy and is waiting for a challenge.
4. The flowers take the shape of a small patch left of the cube (which is centered relative to everything else). They have green stems, wide tall leaves and fold out at the top with thin yellow blossoms. The stems are sturdy and grained unidirectionally. They are at a variety of stages of growth.
5. The horse is wet, the cube is unchanged, except for a few droplets. The ladder fell over and has a few of the petals from the flowers blown around it. The flowers are blown over and missing their petals but are still anchored in space and look healthy enough. | Self:
detached, difficult to read, balanced ego.
Multiplistic problem solver. dreamer, head in the clouds.
Ambition:
standard drive, percieve no problems on road to
success/confident in ambitions. natural course and
progression. Ambitions are aligned to self but don't
hold much weight in defining self. Practical ambitions.
Romantic attraction:
someone who is: comfortable but impatient.
indifferent to surroundings
energetic and challenging
Plays a central role but not overly attached
Friends:
Small group of friends.
I connect with a certain type of person.
Friends are balanced in relation to other aspects of my life
including romantic attractions.
Problem solving / Conflict:
Stability in challenging situations.
Ambitions fall to the wayside as conflict emerges
but remain intact for a later date.
My romantic attraction gets wet when i have a challenge.
otherwise unchanged.
Friends enter every aspect of my life when challenges arise
but the root of the friendship remains unchanged. _________________ I Need To Prognosticate

Symbols are powerful concepts. While they are usually too subjective for a single, unambiguous meaning to be established, merely considering possible meanings can be enlightening. Yes, the direct approach has merits, too, but sometimes we are too close to a subject to see everything we might learn from it. Just as we might learn something about our appearance by seeing ourselves caught unawares in a friend's video, we might discover worthwhile insights through more oblique considerations of topics. Once again, it is not so much the result but the process that is important. _________________ Romana
